Custom Sub Box?
Any of you guys use the sub box in the DIY on this site (http://www.7thgencivic.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=154971)
I was just wondering what the sound quality was cuz it looks pretty sick but does it sound good is my question?

Rep Power: 328 How it sounds is dependent on the equipment you put in it. If the airspace of the completed box matches the sub requirements, and you like the way that particular woofer sounds when it is in it's correct airspace, then yes it will sound good. If the box is way too small or too big it'll probably sound like crap no matter how "good" the sub is.
Wont leave you much options for subs in the future since a lot are dual voice coil and require more air.
frankly I like the way it looks, and how it doesnt take up a lot of space, but you cant put anything over top of it so you may as well have a box :P

I agree, that's pmy issue with in floor boxes, if you can't put anything on them, they might as well be big ol boxes on top of the floor. I like molded boxes that fit in the sides of the trunk.
