Does anyone or has anyone had any experiences with either of these? Im thinking about getting one or the other but i really just want some
feedback about how good or bad of an idea it is. It is realatively cheap montly, especially if me and my girl get it together. If we split the bill its like between 7-9 dollars a month. Also would it be better to get a head unit thats ready for it, or is it cool to just get the unit that can be used with your factory radio? Thanks Guys!

Depends on what you like to listen to. If your a big Howard Stern fan then go for sirius cause that's all he'll be avail on. Price and quality are the same. Its going to come down to programming.

I have an Alpine deck so I naturally had to get XM radio since most of their decks are only compatible with it. I like the quality of XM radio and I hear that in comparison, Sirius cuts up their songs alot more and XM has complete songs. Overall, I am really happy with XM radio, but I have never heard Sirius enough to make a good comparison.

alpine now has sirius as well, and stern, and college hopps and nfl and shade (eminems hip hop station)

Cuts up their songs? You are way off base. Take this from someone who's had both, get Sirius. The programming is way better, especially for hip hop and dance, and my sound quality has been better with Sirius. If you want better sound quality, definitely get a new deck.
