HU install

I'm trying to install a head unit and can't seem to get the 2 screws off that hold the factory stereo in. It's a really tight spot and i tried removing it with a philips screwdriver but it wore out the screw. What tool should i use to remove these?

the head of the screws should be bolt shaped - they can be removed with a small socket set.

use a 1/4 or 1/2 inch ratchet with a 3 inch extension and the right size socket. get em every time.
