how do i remove the center console thing so i can put in my HU? I got it off once but i just dont remember how...i guess i need to stop pokin smot, no who am i kiddin i can't do that.

ok well in our potheaded friends defence... it takes me like 3 minutes to find the DIYs everytime im feeling not lazy as hell.. and 3 minutes in pothead time is like days..

anywho..

is it the same for the 02? and how hard to i have the pull the thing by the lighter... it always feels like im gunna rip it off.. but like.. not in the good way.. am i just bein a sissy or is it different?

The 01-03 is the original DIY. The one MegaHurtz wrote is for the 04. Suggestion for removing the accessory plug panel (assuming you don't have the ashtray), stick your thumbs in the corners of the pocket and give it a tug straight out. It doesn't feel as much like you're breaking it.
