How can I watch DVD's while driving? With Pioneer flip screen
Hey was wondering how do you make it so you can watch DVD's while the car is driving from a pioneer flip screen (avh-p6500dvd) Is there some special wiring needed etc, or does it just work?
Please help thank you

well it's very illegal....especially in the states, if ur caught, ur pretty much screwed...because it's already claimed the lives of many idiots....anyways
all u would do is take the wire that u connect to the ebrake wire...and ground it....
but there's a way you can hook up a switch so if a cop ever pulls u over or whatever and claims u were watching dvd while driving, u can flip the switch and it'll only work with ur ebrake up...when he's gone, flip the switch again and u'll be able to watch it....but it requires a diode (if u know what that is)....

Consider the lack of social responsibility behind what you are trying to do. Save a life and ground your brake wire, watching movies while driving is absolutely unncessary. To take your eyes off the road for even a second is completely dangerous. I've tested this myself when driving home from school at night. When there is nobody around I've tried to take my eyes off the road and onto my screen for like 5 seconds and I can BARELY do it and it seems like hours. But of course I have my monitor discreetly mounted low in the dash out of my peripheral vision so that I can't even see it when I am driving.
hmm. if if see a driver watching tv on the road, the bastard better hope i don't have any probs with my car. i might just fishtail him and when the cops show up i say he was busy watching tv and moved outta his lane. and guess who's gonna win in court. I will. then i sue for more so i can get an evo or wrx or IS300. either way, ill be looking for u and u better have insurance.
Yeah but what happens when your passenger is watching Fast times, Pheobe Cates is coming out of the pool and your passenger is like, DAMN MAN, you've got to see this ****! So you look over, veer off into a car load of Nuns and kill them all!?

I play movies all the time in my car on road trips, iv never had any probs, i usually have the movie memorized anyway. roadtrips i have to play something funny so you can talk about it anyway. Its just nifty.
