Knukonceptz
I know alot of people here use their product because it's inexpensive and good quality. But what did you actually buy from them and is it worth it?
Power
I bought a spool of Streetwires 4 gauge from ebay because it was half the price per foot of knu's wire. And I talked to a couple people here and said tinned wire is mostly for looks and barely helps send more power.
RCA
I'm planning to get RCAs from Knukonceptz. I was thinking the 4 channel karma twist cable for my front and subwoofer. That's only $20 for RCAs. Or maybe I should buy the Knu's top of the line RCA "Krystal" for $20 each x 2 = $40 for RCA. It's not too bad of a price for the best, not like Monster or Stinger HPM RCA prices. Which set did you guys buy, or did you guys go with something else?
Speaker Wire
This would probably be one of the more expensive accessories I'm buying from Knu. The question is do you think it's worth to buy twisted wire? Damn, 80 cents a foot and I would probably need between 30-40 feet to rewire my fronts and sub box. That's $30 for speaker wire. I was considering the the cheaper klarity cable, or maybe even untwisted audiopipe or esoteric cable from ebay. It just doesn't feel right to spend more money on speaker wire than my power wire per foot, but I guess I should consider signal cables as being more technical anyhow. I find that you can also get Stinger's HPM twisted wire for the same price on ebay.
Battery and ring Terminals
Well, I decided to buy two battery terminals from Knu because they look so good...haha. I'm lame. But do you think it would be okay to stick raw wire into the battery terminal and screw it down, or should I use a ring terminal. I was planning to buy mabe a couple of set screw terminals from Knu to use in the engine bay. But if I don't have to, it would save me a couple bucks. I'm still wondering how to hook up the car's power wires to the Knu's battery terminal. I will probably have to figure it out later when I actually take it apart.
Fuses
I've heard the ANL fuses from Knu are flimsy. I would prefer the cheaper AGU fuses anyhow, but you would have no choice if you have more current draw in your system to go ANL. I decided to buy a circuit breaker, either audiopipe, tsunami, or maybe phoenix gold. Which brand would be decided by if you guys think it is okay to stick raw wire into a set screw like contraption under the hood. Phoenix and audiopipe would require the purchase of ring or set screw terminals to connect the power wire.
I will probably buy the primary remote start wire from Knu. But what else do I need. Maybe female disconnects? I didn't install my components, so I don't know what the crossover hookups look like. I thought you would stick raw wire into the designated area on the crossover, but seeing other accessories on Knu for speaker wire makes me think otherwise.

I was just thinking since speaker wire also transmits the signal, does it need to be all high tech too? Or is plain straight copper wire fine? I was thinking top of the line RCA cables for $40 is a good investment. I can just reuse those cables in my next car if I wanted too. Or will the Karma cables do fine?

Unless you need super-flexible speaker wire for some reason, you should be fine with their cheapest stuff.
As PopcornPlaya said, the only thing to worry about is RCAs.

RCA's are Lightning audio TPX1000 (free)
Power wire is Lightning Audio 1/0 to a distro block 4 ga from the distro to amp (free)
Ground (same as power)
Speaker wire is Lightning Audio 10 ga (free)
Remote wire is a 10 ga Lightning wire (free)
I run all of it cause as you can see, they were all free. I eventually plan on switching to all JL wiring, mainly cause I run their amps, and I will get their wire free too, so why not right? (I had originally planned to do all JL amps and subs, but I love the IDMAXes too much.)

Again, the only thing I'd concern myself with is the RCA's. Since I get my wiring free, I take what I get. The Lightnings are pretty much their best wire that I've seen. If I were splurging on wiring, I'd spend 75% of my budget on the RCA's.

So one last time, is it okay to buy just normal straight speaker wire? I don't need twisted wire right?

So can I assume your running the Krystal RCA? I think I read somewhere that someone was going to make their own with cat5 cable and phoenix gold connectors...hehe.

Thanks for the recommendation. Everyone here thinks highly of them too, but my system isn't very high end. So I think I'm just going to buy the 4 channel karma cable. If I do get noise, I'll try the krystals. I won't be in any sq contest, and my ears probably don't have the capabilities of the mods...hehe.
