Who has a voltmeter for their audio stuff?
Its made by Lightining Audio
model number is LA-VT1
the M is for mode
it does:
battery voltage
output voltage of your amp
temp in degrees
temp in celcius
the S is for setting
you can set the voltage to warn you when it drops below a certain voltage...it can turn off the amp or just display "warning low voltage" across the screen
you can also set the temerature to activate a fan at whatever temerature you want. it has outputs on the back that you can hook to relays.
it comes with the wires for output voltage (you just put them in the output of you amp you want to monitor) and the temp sensor.

When I had mine, it showed voltage around 14-15v in cold weather during initial start. It seems to stay around 14v during the winter. In the summer, it usually stays around 12v and I've seen it go a lil lower.
I drive a hybrid so it might be different from other civics. My voltmeter usualy stays around 13.7. If I crank up the radio and play something with heavy bass I can drop it bellow 12V. I'm running 3 amps totaling about 2500W RMS. I also have a stock alternator, and only one large battery. I also haven't upgraded my grounds and power yet.
