usually u cant add on anymore to a stock deck... if you mess with the ohms then most likely ur deck will fry..

If you can keep it above 4 Ohms, You can put as many as you want.

Thats the key. If the deck is rated at 4 ohms ..... then you can add as many speakers as you want as long as the resulting ohms of all the speakers when wired up is greater than 4 ......

Can you elaborate on this ...... never heard of that before.

I know that dropping the ohm load increases the current, which increases the power output, hence why its bad, and things cook themselves on too low of ohm loads.

I assumed that increasing the ohms simply reduced current flow, hence reduced power. Therefor no chance at killing it. Isn't the worst case of this simply not hooking a speaker up at all, hence an infinite resistance.
