has anyone put quarts in kick panels. good/bad idea?

i was told quarts like to have air but what if i just didn't make them sealed? or would that just contradict the point of kicks

the reason i am thinking of doing them is of course for better sound quality and also to hopfully get rid of some of the rattling i get with them in the doors

i have...but i only have the 4" set in the kicks and a 6.5 in the door....they sound great...i used q logics and i would like the stage a little higher but hey...i built my system more for volume than SQ

I've fiberglassed them for a couple customers and they've stuck quarts in them before and they said they didnt have any problems.
