where through the firewall can i run my 8 ga. wire from the battery to the trunk..... are there any empty grommets that will work ? or is there a grommet with wires going through already that i use? or do i have to drill a new hole? my car is a 2002 acura EL.... same thing as a civic pretty much.

Well in the Civics we run the amp power wire thru the cluster of wires under the dash on the passenger side on the left side of the footwell. It's an existing grommet but it's a snap to run another wire thru.

I like the clutch hole on the drivers side, too. works pretty well.

I put two 8 ga in the cluster that Mega mentions. Just don't use a hanger or other ghetto tricks, you might cut or splice an important wire. Be patient.
