ANY inverter can be installed good, you need to take some precautions as to location, wiring length, grounding points etc. The video static is dependant on 1) # of screens and 2) output capacity of the player. If the source has a strong output level, you can run up to 3-4 screens with no amplification. Anything over that you'll need a signal amp or splitter. As for location, mounting will be key. You can wire it to ACC with no problems. Keep in mind that the inverter will make some noise from the cooling fan, so you may want to mount in trunk as opposed to somewhere in the front of the car. Any other questions just ask.

as for hooking up the inverter, do they have on/off switches or can u wire them like you wire your amps that have a "remote on/off" from the deck so that it only comes on when u turn the key?
If you're hooking up screens, xbox, etc. a lot of people end up with wavy lines through their screen . . . if you get this problem you might wanna invest in a "pure sine wave inverter" . . . my 2 cents
