I installed my new deck today and I ran 2 wires down beside my cigarette lighter to run a little LED scanner that I have installed.
My deck didn't seem to be working properly, and I noticed that when I touched the 2 wires for the scanner together my deck turned on.
I took out all the wiring for the scanner and the deck worked fine after that...
Any logical explanation?

Rep Power: 0 Are you running the led scanner in series or parallel? My thinking is you have it wired in series some how.
Another thing could be the scanner drawing too much current and the radio isn't getting enough juice.
Don't flame me if I'm wrong. These are just guesses.
