Differences btw line output convertor and plugging directly in speaker level inputs?
Differences btw line output convertor and plugging directly in speaker level inputs?
Is there any difference between plugging inputs directly from the factory headunit to:
A) line output convertor and then using RCAs to plug to amp
or,
B) plugging directly into amp using speaker level inputs (my Pioneer amp supports speaker level input)
This is just a small 2-channel amp to power front door Infinity Reference speakers.

If you're feeling lazy, go ahead and use the speaker level input. Don't even bother wasting $60+ on a line output converter. Best bet, just go buy an aftermarket HU with at least 4 volt preouts (pretty common nowdays)
