Remote turn on
How many items can typically be connected to the remote turn on lead? I now have four...could I add one more? What would happen if I connect to many things?

get a relay so you don't mess the remote up. Use the remote power to turn the relay on and you shouldn't have a problem. They make pretty powerful relays
do the calculations and figure it out yourself...
it'll depend on your deck's specification for how much current the remote can output and how much current will each amp draw from the remote
note that on some amps, when it blows, it will draw a lot of current from the remote lead.
i guess you can put a fuse on the remote wire to protect the deck or use the relay method
