I was originally going to go with JL audio, But I am just looking for something for now. I was thinking of the HiFonics Brutus BX1000D but if you have any other ideas, let me know. I need to have at least 400 or 500 for each sub so about 1000wRMS @1 ohm is what I need, I am going for SPL and working on a custom box. I trashed my other box and went with a new design. DAMN that is sick,,,,,,,,,,,,,my subs are 2ohm boston 8" competitors and are 500rms i think so im building a custom box. I must have taken it apart about 30 times messing with baffles and when i get it right, I will build a new one.

jl to hifonics is quite the leap. if you want some ideas i'd actually shop on caraudioforum.com, they have a lot more stuff and lightly used equipment is easy to come by. crossfire makes a 1000W rms amp, tsunami makes a nice 1100 watt, cadence, avionix, good lord you have a TON of options.

not knocking the JL amp, its versitility in impedence ranges adds a lot to its value, but for SPL dollar i don't think it's neccessary to spend that much loot.
