i have a 2001 civic ex coupe with the factory cd player. i wired up everything fine, or so i though and when i turned the cd player on all it would not say anything, so i unwired the battery wire and then all it would say was "CODE" and then i pressed buttons and when i would press the preseason buttons i would get "ERR1" then after a few more "ERR2" and a few more was "ERR3" so how do I get my cd player to work right and what have I done wrong?
I used the red wire with a white stripe for my remote wire.

j/k. cd player has a code that must be input when the battery is disconnected. should be in that big pile of stuff you got when you bought the car (it's on a little card)

thanks i got the radio back to working but what color is the remote/accessory wire? I cannot find a 12v wire.
