Help Amp Protection Light comes on constant

I was just drivin home one day listen to my music as usual then all the suddent the bass cutts off and the protection light on my amp comes on.
The amp is an old school infinity beta digital 300 amp. Its been running great for a while and never had this problem. I checked the fuses and its fine. I have it wired to 4 ohm, so it cant be my wiring. THe sub im using is a 12" Adire Audio Brahma. I dunno wat it could be.

Was your voltage too low?

Let your battery charge for a bit and see if it goes away

Was the amp getting hot?

How much power does that amp handle? Brahma's are powerhouses so it could have been working the amp too hard and wrecked it.. god forbid
