Guys, I had my keys in my bookbag, and was doin some reading on the sidewalk of my campus, and a kid on a bike accidentally ran over my bag, and when I got home, I noticed the transponder on my matrix 3.5 alarm system was mashed... the LCD screen was black with spilled fluids, but it was still beeping when i pressed the button. I tried to test it out, but it doesn't send any signal (even if i stand RIGHT next to the car). I click, and the remote makes 3 chirps saying that its out of range. I asked some ppl, and they said it's a loose connection in the remote. I dunno what to do. I tried to take it apart, and couldn't, and I didn't want to break it or else it'll void the warrantee. My friend bought the alarm for me on ebay, and I have no reciept, and I called Directed, and they said I could ship the remote and a copy of a purchase receipt and they'll replace it or fix it, so here I am, in a jam, can't start my car because of the engine kill.

Anyone got any ideas on what I can do? Can anyone forge me a fake reciept or something? >_<
