Unhappy Polk MM6's don't fit..

Well i just went to a professional installer and my mm6's do not fit in my factory door locations. The only way i can use them is if i get kick panels for my civic. what do you guys suggest i do? The Q logic kick panels do not fit these speakers either. any help gladly accepted.

from them to not block the window they need a spacer and the panel does not fit with the spacer. So in other words the magnet is too deep.

BS, you HAVE to use spacers (or more specifically, adapters) on our cars because of the wierd holes that the stock speakers use.

I used spacers in mine and they fit no prob, I suggest you do this job DIY.

Can u provide me with the mounting depth info on these speakers?

After doing some research it looks like the polks have 6-3/4" diameter woofers that have a mounting depth of ~3-1/2". Rougly 1" more than my Alpine Type-S woofers that are only 2.5" deep.... maybe the MM6 just don't fit period...

You could cut and modify your door panel so that the woofers stick out a little bit and then put grills over top of them...

Just a suggestion

How close is the panel to fitting? You might be able to cut off the little circular plastic thing on the inside of the panel if you just need a 1/4" or so.

my peerless csx midbasses look like miniature subwoofers, if they fit, anything fits, my spacer is almost 1.5" thick

it's over 3 inches deep but it was mostly the first installers mental capacity that made not fit.
