denso iridium spark plugs do work

hey i just bought some denso iridium spark plugs and installed and they really made a difference that you can feel right away. first off my car started right away with no hesitation and throttle response has been improved. acceleration is a lot more responsive minimizing that lag i tend to get. i had seen that they supposedly will gain you 4hp but i dont know. i just know that these spark plugs are great and would recommend them for those who havent upgraded their spark plugs yet

I have ngk iridium on my ride and they hold up really well. My car actually can't run on lower level plugs anymore after the head work. They foul out in a day.

First off, the thread doesn't belong in ICE.

Secondly, any brand new plug would give you those benefits. With plugs it's about how they hold up in the long term - just as gearbox mentioned. My IK20's were a waste of money.

Actually, when I switched from iridium to regular copper, there was a big power loss. I had less available voltage, and the car was just running terrible. Put back the iridiums and no problems since.

Well gearbox, you've got kind of a special situation going on there. It makes sense that your car would run better on an iridium plug, as its been modded internally. You said yourself, it'll eat lesser plugs for breakfast.

Are those a colder plug than stock? And what was the condition when you pulled them out?
