Good deal?

I found CDT CL-61 for $136 shipped, new, with warranty. I have heard good things and these are in the right price range for me. I have a 75Wx2 amp. Can anyone tell me how these speakers handle bass, since I dont plan on getting subwoofers any time soon? Are they worth $136?

LudlamTheory is an unknown quantity at this point
probably one of the best bang for buck sets of components out on the market today

id take em over infinity kappa's, anything polk makes, most rf sets, and the rest of the best buy sets without thinking twice

Thanks Ludlam. Will the 6.5's fit in the doors? I'll cut metal and use spacers but I want the factory door panel and speaker cover to fit over if possible.

Factory door panel (which has integrated speaker grill) will fit fine with aftermarket 6.5's if you use spacers. Like I said in a post which I made 30 seconds ago, you need spacers to do the front door woofers in our cars because for some ridiculous reason (assumingly drug-induced engineering), they made the stock 5.25" woofer a really wierd shape, like a square with a half circle on top, and the hole in the door is the same, so it doesn't allow you to easily fit an aftermarket speaker in there... But I did mine not too long ago and I used spacers and it worked like a breeze.

Just keep the thread up to date if you need help.
