component speaker options?
ok, so after doing about 3 days of searching i decided to listen to some of the older member here and not worry about spending a lot of money on my rear speakers. i am looking to take out my sub (want the room in the trunk back), but looking for some speakers that will give me a good low frequency.
Cureently i am running my speakers off an xtant 302a amp (4channel) and my sub is running off an audiobahn amp. 1st i am wondering. Is the xtant going to be the better amp to use? The audiobahn is a 2 channel but i believe it is rated higher than the xtant in watts.
2nd; removing the sub, what components are on the market that deliever a good bass responce as well as keeping music clean and enjoyable. Also i dont want to have to jump trhough major hoops to install a component setup like a rainbow (where the magnet is HUGE), but i am not afraid to take the dremel out and trim a lil.
ohh yah my rears are currently infinity kappa's 6.5 3-ways. (dont know if that will make a difference or not)
any help is appricated!
