When I put in infinity kappas back there, I noticed the basket didnt clear, but was close. I just cranked the speaker down and warped the torsion bars.

the trunk still opened fine, just rubbed a little agasint the motor of the speaker.

it wasnt a perfect install, but it is a case of putitng a speaker in "with no mods" despite its large physical size.

You could always get a 6 by 9 to 6 1/2 adapter and find some 6 1/2s with a smaller magnet to fit back there. It would definently give you more options.

fronts have more issues than the back because of the small cutout and nothing to mount an aftermarket speaker to. If the rears have a depth issue, you can do the strut mod in the DIY......if it's height you're stuck because of the rear deck.
