Sealing Subs
I took a look at my subs, two 12" JL Audio, in a sealed box and noticed that the seal around the sub is not tight (I can see bubbles in the vynal going up and down around the edge of the subs). I tried to tightend the screws but the screws have stripped the MDF. Would it be OK to put a silicone strip around the edge of the baffle holes, so the subs can seal again it. Also, is there another way to secure the subs without simply putting wood screws into the MDF?

put one of those things in and use a bolt. I've heard great things about the Hurricane ones, although they don't look like they're work too well.

I must have had a brain fart when I was putting the box together
