i'm trying to install my alpine deck in my new 2004 civic vp coupe and i cant figure out how to get the damn thing in... i think the directions that came with the metra plate were for a sedan because it refers to some screws that arent there and i cant get the damn center console off... has anyone here installed a deck in an 04 civic? please help!!

is it the same DIY as center console of 03 civic? try searching that DIY..

ps i looked at the diy but its not the same on the 04 its all arranged differently

I have an 04 too and I havent seen any way to get in yet. I was thinking of ripping out that storage compartment below the radio to see where it would get me
