On pretty well every remote start on the market the park lights will flash if a remote start signal was received the module. Most remote starts will turn on the park lights and keep the lit where DEI allows you program the ouutput to either constantly flash the lights or have them lit for the duration of the engine running.
In the above case the vehicle did not run, and we should determine if the remote start actually did receive a signal and in fact tried to start the car. If it did recieve the signal then it would turn on the lights and it would flash them if the engine did not start up. It will usually flash a code telling the owner of the vehicle what has caused the vehicle not to start. Most cases it's the hood pin, since you have to have the hood closed in order to start remotely.
This is of course that the system was installed properly with a hood pin and the park lights were connected. But it does't look like we'll never know since VINIH isn't responding.
And on the DEI Viper products the hood pin wire is blue. Clifford is gray... But that's why I love DEI it's such a mystery to work with sometime.
