Which box shall i make?
here are 2 3-d renderings i'm considering. They are for 2 12" Rockford Fosagate HE2 and a Rockford 700s amp.
box1:
box is a ported design with 1.79 cubic ft vol. It is 32.5" wide, 17" deep, and 16"? tall. I have yet to decide how i will do the ports and how i will tune them (never made a ported box before, so any tips about porting and tuning would be helpful). The ports are the 2 smaller circle cutouts in the center that you can see. Center rectangle cut out will be for cosmetic apperance purposes with etched plexiglass flush-mounted featuring the rockford fosgate logo and name lighted up with neons (or leds). Sub Grills will be made out of plexiglass circles that have had holes drilled out of them to make a "swiss cheese" effect, but in a symmetrical pattern. Everything will be flushed mounted, except for the subwoofer grills, which will placed approximately 1.5 inches above the surface. A false floor will be created around the box with a window in front of the box so that the amp can be seen after it is mounted to the floor.

box 2:
box 2 is a sealed box design featuring 3.43 cubic ft. vol. It is 37" wide, 16" tall, and something is the depth (forgot). The center cut-out is where i will mount the amp (the black rectangle in the pic will be the actual amp itself). It will feature built in fans on the side to cool the amp off. Hopefully this will prevent any overheating issues. I haven't decided if the center will get the plexiglass treatment i described above. For sub grills, i am considering about doing the same thing as above, or making it a complete square instead. If the sub grills will be squares, then they will be the full size of the panel that the sub is mounted in. I will drill holes into it in the shape of the sub (12" diameter) and procede to make smaller holes towards the center of the sub. It will be symmetrical as well. No false floor will be made around this box.

Boxes will be made out of 3/4" MDF. Acrilyic may be substituted for plexiglass as well, but thats undecided. Haven't decided on plexiglass/Acrilyic thickness as well yet. The boxes will more than likely be covered in black carpet.

oh yea, i think the second box would be easier to make, but thats besides the point. I like both boxes equally, so i'm looking for a deciding factor or opinion.

No offense, but both those boxes are awful
Make a seperated chamber box with slot ports for each individual sub, or if you want to have some fun and use some ingenuity, try your hand at a folded horn enclosure

can you explain?
i thought about adding an internal wall in the top box, but you cant see where i had it in the pic. it basically had the top port hole (in the pic) for one sub only, while the other port hole was for the other sub, if thats what you mean.

Find a good techician who can input the t/s parameters for your subs into a computer program and generate you a box. See if he can make folded horns, they are beautiful. To kind of give you a shitty example, they look like this
*EDIT* STUPID UBB PARSED THE SPACES, MY DIAGRAM LOOKED LIKE ***
I hope that makes sense to you. On the left is the sub, and on the right is the port. It basically just wraps around and fires out the port. Looking from the top, you can see why it has the name folded horn, the entire box is just one big port. They are very efficient and LOUD!
The next best thing to that is a slot port, but I think you will get much better results and more attention if you make a folded horn. I don't know how they are for SQ, but for SPL, they can't be beat.
They do take knowledge and skill to build though, so make sure you have covered all your bases before you build it, because you don't wanna have to do it twice.
