Rattles... help

Anybody know how to take off the plastic piece that clips around your rear-view mirror? I have gotten rid of almost all rattles and this damn little piece makes more noise than anything . Is it just clipped on? I don't wanna pull and break the stupid thing.

Is it the little beige colored piece above the rearview or a piece on the rearview mirror itself?

I have a rearview mirror rattle problem, but it seems to be my mirror itself, as when I hold it with my hand, the rattle dissipates.

I don't know how to get that piece off, but if you find out, please let me know how it plays out.
