Speaker question..
You can, if you really like treble, it might become too harsh, but it's totally doable, if you can disable the tweeter on the coaxial, that might work to even things out as well.

it's easy to disable a tweeter on a pair of coax speakers...just snip one of the tweeter wires but why would you disable a tweeter on a pair of coax speakers? if someone was going to spend money on a pair of tweeters and crossovers, isnt it just cheaper to buy a new pair of components? might be even cheaper if you sell the old coax ones too..hehe
go find a local car forum and sell them there...i think i've heard of an alberta civics club there..
anyways, if you're gonna spend $100+ for a pair of tweeters and crossovers, you might as well just buy a new pair of components
