Tweeter mount locations
Don't have pics, but I just installed my JL VR650 tweeters up on the sail panels (the plastic panels behind the side mirrors). I've got a 2004 EX Sedan. I just drilled a hole in there and screwed the tweeters in. Looks great! Plastic color matches up and everything.
Sounds good, too.

I'm going to put my silk Diamonds in the kicks on axis and my Alum Diamonds in the a-Pillar off-axis crossed over and a few db's down. If anyone has a-pillar pics, POST EM!
the problem with mounting silk tweeters in a kickpanel is the tendancy to roll off very quickly. If they are your "main" tweeters, you may find you have no response above 15-16 KHz!
furthermore, aluminum tweeters in the dash may prove to be too bright, making yoru stereo sound like youve got little drummer boy down in teh door, and little cymbal boy up in the a-pillar!
but then again, perhaps experimentation with crossover points may allow the alums to act much the same as the ID image enhancement kit, aiding to raise the stage and complete FR where the silks quit.
i think it should be very interesting to see how this particular install performs

Here is a picture of my tweeter location. Its actualy in the a-pillar. What look like tweeters in the door is just a grill to cover the hole left from when I removed them from that location. http://www.wrathof.com/pictures/dscf0098.jpg The speakers are coverd with fabric if you look about halfway to 2/3rds down the a-piller you should be able to see them if you look closely enough. Putting them in this location did two things. 1 it made cymbals and stuff have more attack. 2) it raised and seemed to widen the stage.

Note: The small round piece on the fabric part below the door handle is the cover plate for my aftermarket power windows, and not another tweeter.
