Problem with Pioneer Deck

Hey guys this is my first post here. Found this place and was hoping I could get an answer or suggestions.

I just bought a brand new 04 Civic EX Coupe 2 days ago. I had my old Pioneer 8400MP deck installed at best Buy for the pure fact of not wanting to risk destroying my dash int he process. Here is the problem...

The angle at which the deck was mounted with the mounting kit is horrible. For those of you not farmiliar with the 8400MP it is a flip down deck with a screen behind it. I can only see about half the screen due to the angle of the mount.

I am going to try going back to Best Buy and see if they can fix it, if not does anyone know of any solutions to this as I am sure I am not the first person to run into this type of thing.

Hmm,I am not quite sure what you mean, but I know the deck.

Can you provide pics from your perspective? (ie. put thew camera where your eyes would be so we can see it from the same angle you would.

Ohhhhhh I see what you mean now, the glare from the sun causes you to not be able to see the display.

Happens to me too

I don't know what you can do about it unfortunately, sorry.

Well, no more problem.

After weighing my options I decided to buy a Pioneer 8600 deck and have that put in. It's beautiful. Only problem is that I have a Pioneer 8400 just laying around. Oh well, E-Bay here you come.
