there are no pre drilled holes or set mounting location for the hardware?
can you explain in a little more detail what the problem is and possibly provide pics?

i would provide pics but my car got rearended on my bday so i'm waiting for it to come back but basically you have to drill out those holes for the aluminum mounting things that hold the actuator and the actuator has to be directly underneath the plunger (lock thingy that you normally manually move) and then you drill a hole in the plunger and run a steel rod from the actuator to the plunger and it's a b*tch. not only does it have to be perfectly straight, but it has to be the right tention and it's hard to increase or decrease the tension on a steel bar i spent aboot 15 hours workin on if before i said "f*ck it i'll keep reaching over to unlock it"

they're both gutless...i couldnt noticed the extra 12 horses and the vtec-e doesnt seem to save me any gas. in fact, i swear i'm getting much worse gas milage than my lx. also, since it's vtec-e, it's very hard to tell if vtec is even activated...
i still like my Si(USA EX) but i'd say it's overpriced....
honda charged us an arm and a leg for those fugly Si rims...

lol....i think it's retarded how honda included fugly alloy rims with my si
for the amount they charged for those rims, they should have thrown in some nicer looking rims...something polished instead of painted silver...
and ugh..those firestone tires....
i think we deserved more than that...i'd be much happier if honda had included those 2004 style 15" alloy rims w/ the potenzas..

lol. Alex why are you playing stupid? You make a living installing aftermarket power windows in vehicles. Help this guy already before I keep your wire.

sorry bro, i have a DX, bought a autolock kit from autotoys for like $35.00 and works great. has no switch, but I dealing with it. Took me three days, though, cause I was a first timer on something like that. Oh, I had help drilling the holes in the plunger. Mine looks a little ghetto when you look at it cause I use it to hold somethings, but it works so far. the wiring I ran is clean with plastic covering for running wires. I had to do some custom mods for mine to work, that's why it took so long too. Pain in the ***, but hope things are cool , when i purchase an alarm.
