Does anyone know the name of that sticky black putty that is sometimes used in car audio installs for various purposes?

I say it is putty b/c it has sort of the same consistency as silly putty (or a cross between silly putty & play dough), and when I say sticky I mean that it is sticky enough to stay put when pushed up against a surface, but not so sticky that it gets all messy when you want to take it off or work with it in general. Also, this putty does NOT harden (like epoxy does), but rather stays soft & moldable.

Can anyone tell me the name of this product and/or where I can pick some up?

Are youtalking about the stuff like what seals the headlights with, the same stuff they use to seat windows in school buildings and such?

Nevermind...........I found out what that stuff is called........Strip Caulk (made by 3M), a.k.a "Gorilla Snot"
