Adding a PS2

I added a PS2 to my head unit. When I use it, I get static in the speakers and on the display. I have a Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD. Used the RCAs that came with my PS2. Plugged them into the VCR input in the hideaway unit. I only have static when it's plugged into the hideaway. Is there a nosie filter for RCAs? I know that quite a few of you guys have PS2s in your car. I was wondering how you put them in. The static in the same with car running or off. Thanks for you help.

Later,

stupidd is on a distinguished road
I've got the Pioneer DVH-P5000MP and a PS2.
Question: When you get static sound, do you get lines or static on your scree?

i had some troube with static, but i think it was because a power wire that was close to one of the rca's or maybe even the PS2 power cable, not real sure, i moved it around until the static (audio and video) was gone. try moving stuff around. hope this helps
