Question amp mounting question!?!?

Just built a new 2.25 cu.ft ported box for my one 12” L7 and I DON'T want to screw my amp ( http://www.mtx.com/caraudio/products...hunder801D.cfm ) or my 1.0 farad Lightning Audio cap to the back of my box like my previous system. I want to mount them both on the bigger rear fold down seat. SO, anyone got any ideas or experience concerning how I’m going to do this or what I should do???

how did you attach the ply wood to the back of the seat? that's my main problem cause there are those wire bars that go across the back of the seat andi don't have a clear idea on how to attach to wood to that.

unzip the fabric and put the board inside there.

i'm using 1/8 basically pegboard material and secured the amp w/ zipties. put small holes in the fabric and run the zipties through, you'l;l be ok

well yea i was going to put the pre-cut board under the fabric, but i'd like to bolt down the board on the back of the seat some how so it doesn't move around at all; or for your car's does the fabric hold to board down?

the zipties pretty much hold it in place. they put the amp tight on the board and it doesn't go anywhere. just pre drill holes in the board and cut small gashes in the seat carpet

wow all that wrk for just a crapy install, if your going to do it, do it right, really plan it out and stay away from plywood ya...MDF is the choice of serious installers....but ya if your going to do it make it look kustom, not like ***, just like an amp mounted on the back of a seat..

this is why i live in Michigan.... i'm thinking about just pre-cutting the needed size and amout of mdf to mount my cap and amp onto it. Then using U brackets to firmly attach the wood to the back of the bars of the seat.

your work is top notch! but here is my question to you. what is the diff. between ply wood and mdf? it will go behind the fabric of the back seat! yes you are right if you are building something custom, like you obviously do, you would use mdf. but the question at hand is how to mount the amp to the back seat of the car. therefore ply wood/anything is fine.
disagree?

Does anyone know what that 8g sized black wire running down the pass. side kick pannels is? Radio wire possibly?

Also Keep coming with ideas and suggestions beside zip ties on how to mount my cap and amp to my rear seat.

Thats a custom board I made. Nothing is attatched to the box. Basically I made two boards. The one to the front is where everything is mounted and is sturdy and on an incline. The board to the trunk is an old piece of panneling that is vertical and just hides the wires from view.
