the EQ settings on their Headunits? Recently I have left mine flat, but I was thinking of maybe playing around with it.
Are there any frequencies that are big holes in our cars (especially if speakers are in the kicks)?

Rep Power: 314 my car had a hole at 400, and a HUGE spike (surprise!) at 1.2 Khz
my kicks rolled off at 16k, but i had very directional tweets at the time.
I use my 3 band parametric EQ on my pioneer to flatten it out.
ill let you know how it turns out this weekend (I hope) if I get up to fresno to RTA again with the new stuff

Rep Power: 322 I was looking at the picture of the truck...and the bed looks like it tilts slightly away from the truck at the top...I would be worried that the bed would come off with all that weight. Also, I hope he has plexi windows!!

Rep Power: 0 oh, and about the eq, its not only speaker related, its also plcement related: kicks resonance, tweeter directionality, speakers peaky or non peaky response, your deck, everything!
just play with it mr fonto.
or
buy the new pioneer p860 mp with the auto-eq mic that sets flat response on the built in 13 band eq

Rep Power: 322 One thing I hate about car audio is tuning...I so hate sitting in the car in tuning...it is all about the music for me; I just want it to sound good.
I was hoping that someone else who had Q-logic kicks found any frequencies where their all holds.
