truck boxes
just curious but do u think subs in those truck boxes sound good. im getting 2 12" truck boxes to save sapce and make my trunk nice and cutom. is the sound any differnet from a regular box?

Just make sure you get the cubes of the box and make sure it fits the parameters for your woofer (ie. that it'll work in a small sealed box). I personally don't like truck boxes unless they are used in a truck where the area you have to work with only permit that amount of space. If you're wanting to save space in your trunk, why not go false floor, and put the subs in the floor? It'll save you space, make it custom, and you'd be able to get some more airspace for it. Plus, you could also make a cover piece to go over it, like one of the one's rabbit posted a while back, and it'd be stealth, plus if need be, you could pile stuff on top of it once the cover was on it.
the only speakers i ever used that sounded good in truck boxes were the 86 and 87 series eclipse 10's and the idq 10's.
i hear the idq 12's worked well too, but ive never personally heard them in truck boxes
