back seat up or down

I just finished my new setup in the trunk and want to know how you listen to your music.Do you keep the back seat up locked or do you keep it down.I know its alot louder with the seat down. The problem I have is that the entire back deck rattles when the seats are down.I have 1-12" L7 solobaric with about 924 watts and when the bass hits it rattles everything.

In my old car my dash rattled like there was no tomorrow. I had no folding seats, only a fold down armrest. With a razor, I cut a hole through to my trunk, and it was the best thing I ever did. It got rid of almost all the rattling inside my car instantly. There was still some but the difference was incredible.

Either way though, the best thing you can do is experiment and see what you like best.

Personally I could see my seats being down most of the time.

Probably makes a difference the way your box faces as well. I've always had mine facing away from the cabin, this time I think I am going to go the other direction and face them so they fire towards the front of the car.
