My wiring schematic is wrong?
Ok someone wanna shed some light on my wiring schematic and tell me what's wrong with it? I wired it all up yesterday and it didn't work. I've been using SPDT 30 amp relays, installing remote starts and security systems for years so I know what I'm doing. Anyways, this is what was intended.
1. Neons flash with parking light flash on alarm (-)
2. The neons would come on everytime the parking lights would turn on if ACC was off.
3. Neons would not turn on if ACC was on.
4. Neons can turn on/off anytime with external switch mounted up front.
My theory: If the neons would turn on everytime I have the parking lights on, well I'd be asking to get pulled over if I drove with them on. BUT if the ACC is off, then the car would be parked, therefore it's legal to have the neons on. Understand? lol

Your schematic looks right to me. In my limited experience with neon, it always seems to take a second to turn on, are your parking light pulses simply not long enough? You are getting output from the relays, arent you? if thats the case wont a pulse timer solve your problem?

Oh yeah, it occured to me that if it's not clicking the relay it may just need to be isolated with diodes. Im not sure how to technically explain it, but its like when you hook up a window roll up module and a starter kill relay off the same ground when armed, it only rolls up the windows when you turn the ignition off, not when you arm the system. (at least with dei alarms and a 530t).

Well the relays click, but its like there is WAY too much amperage going through the wire that goes from the second relay (the relay with the ACC connected).
I know that it takes a second for the neons to turn on but there have been people who have connected the neons directly to the parking lights without relays and that works fine, it's just I don't want the neons on ALL the time whenever my parking lights are on. THis weekend I'll probably throw in a diode so the voltage only flows from the relay to the transformer and not vice versa. ANy other ideas?
