Ok tonight I started changing my power wire from 8 gauge to 4 gauge. Is it just me or is almost impossible to "tuck" the 4 gauge wire under the trim? I am having a bitch of a time. Do you have to remove the pannels? If so how do you do that?

removing it shouldnt more than a few minutes...
if i fit 1/0 gauge + 4 diff 12 guge wires on one side, and on the other side 3 sets of rca's, and 6 sets of speaker wire, then you could def fit 4

4 gauge fits - are you trying to run it on the same side as your RCA's?
I ran power and remote on the passenger side, and all of my RCA's on the drivers side...had more of a problem with the RCA's than the power/ground.

^^ the RCA's are run on the other side, but I ran them about 2 years ago so maybe I have forgotton how hard it was.
I am going to try and get the door sill and the rear seat side pannel off after work. I got the pannel next to the hood release latch off this morning, had to pull pretty hard. I just want to make sure that I won't break the plastic or the clips. Is there a certain (easy) wway to get the door sill covers off?

When I did my first install in the vic, I ran 4 ga power, rca's, and remote all down the passenger side, it fits fine. Just remove the trim (maybe 3 minutes), and run it under it. There should be holes along the side you can route your wire through (at least there are in mine where the front seat bolts down onto the raised rails). Now, I have power down one side, rca's down the middle, and remote down the driver's side. But 4 ga. will fit.

Also, when removing the panels (if your doing the passenger side), start at the front, under the dash, there's a piece there that you remove first, then just work your way back.
