Speaker Box Question?
Okay guys my system hits hard as hell on the inside of the car but on the outside it sounds like poop, basically i'm not feeling the bass. I got 2 Alphasonik 12's (Audiobahns Comp Subs) and there in a Deep Sealed Box? I don't think they require that much Air Space so should i get a shorter Sealed Box? or Ported? Or Vented? I'm also pushing it with a Aphasonik Mono Class D Amp? So what could the problem be? All my other systems i can hear from the outside and i used shorter sealed boxes.

theres no way to predict how itll sound on the outside. try moving your box around the trunk facing diff directions, try dropping or putting up your seats, try playing different frequencies. theres no real way of figuring it out

Not sure why you want to be able to hear it outside, unless the windows are down. Best thing about a good system is sound deadening. You should hear minimal to no sound outside the vehicle with the windows up. Personally I buy my stuff for me, I personally don't care to let some bum walking down the street hear my stuff. Just my $0.02
