Anybody got that new Planet Audio Amp?

THe one that kinda looks like a memphis amp? The 2004 Class D one? Monoblock? Well i had one but the **** didn't work so i'm getting a new one Tuesday but does anyone know if it really is 1ohm stable? The Birth Certificate says 1250 x 1 does that mean 1ohm stable? my friend had one and his blew out after like 15 minutes of bumping and they had it setup for 1ohm.

Okay another question....if your battery doesn't supply enough "power "to power your amp will that cause an amp to blow?

Cause i called Planet Audio and they said the amp is 1ohm stable. Speakers were wired in 1ohm cause there 1ohm stable as well so i'm guessing because the battery didn't supply enough ampage(i guess that's what you call it ) then it's probably why the amp went dead?

I seriously doubt that a lack of power to an amplifier would make it blow. I've underpowered a 2ch amplifier when I put an inline fuse in the power wire that was too small, 20 amps too small, and my amplifier really didn't do anything different than it does with the right fuse.

when it says 1250 x 1 it usually means one channel. Look at the box or the instruction manuall to see if it will take a 1ohm load. If it was meant to be 1250 x 1 at 2 ohm and you ran it at 1 ohm you could blow the amp.

Putting a smaller fuse in doesnt under power the amp. If your amp didnt blow with a 20amp smaller fuse then it means that it doesnt draw that much amperage to make it blow the fuse.
