power problem I think

power problem I think

I just hooked up an equalizer to my stereo and now when I shift gears the volume drops for a second and then it comes back. Is it because I'm using too much power and when the rpm drops so does the power or could it be a bad connection? Thanks.

I didn't tighten up the postive on the battery enough.
