One sub 4 Sound and Space and Funds

Sup all,

I am finally selling my old system to a friend of mine (1000watt 300rms Sony amp, 2 Mtx 10's and box). No I want to go with only 1 sub because of space issues.

I want to know what does everyone recommend I go with. I was lookin at either 1 Kicker 12L7 with the 600.1 amp, or the 12w6v2 with Jl 500.1 amp. These are really the only speakers I know of that have decent sound quality. If any of you pros out there know of a cheaper setup that will give me the same results please post. Thank you.

Ps all will be hooked up to a Pioneer P7600mp

I would go with the JL stuff, but you'll be cutting it close with a 12W6v2, a 500/1 and a box with that budget.

idmax can be had for 290-300 shipped off sounddomain with a pricematch from carmedia1.com
also an amp for it shouldnt be at all hard to find. you just need 500-1000 watts at either 2 or 4 ohms (d2 or d4 sub)
