noob help

the other day i bought a 200watt jensen amp off this guy i know for $10. i know nothing about car audio but my friend said that i could "bridge" it to my stock sound system or something like that? what is bridging? would i need a new cd player or anything?

bridging means turning a fourchannel amp into a 2 channel amp or 2 channel amp into a single channel amp.

bridging can also mean interconectivity, which means you can connect it to your existing system.

Since you have oem speakers (aka pioneer) you are better off purchasing aftermarket speakers, other wise you would risk damaging your oem speakers becasue they are not designed to handle high currents.

You would also need a amp wiring kit to connect it properly.
