check to make sure your fuse near the battery is still good. Also check the amp fuses and your ground connection. If the amp is on and not playing, make sure the speaker wires are hooked up correctly. Other than that, I'm not sure.

Hmmm, there's really only a few things it could be. Speaker connections, RCAs from deck, power, and ground. There's also the remote turn-on wire for the deck, but that's just to turn the amp on when the deck comes on.
Are you running the correct thickness of power wire from the battery to amp? If you can find a way to test the amp with another sub, maybe that will help.

If you're unsure, just check to see which will give you more rms watts total. I'm assuming you're bridging it to run your sub. But I don't know as far as brands, only that pyramid is pretty low quality compared to anything. Ludlamtheory and whiterabbit are the real audio guys here. Maybe they'll respond with something.

Well, if your amp does turn on, then it's not gonna be power, ground, or remote. The only thing it can be is the RCA's from the deck or the speaker connections. Does the amp you have have a protection light? If so, is it going into protection?

the pyramid amp has a protection light ..and no it doesnt light up..so i guess my deck or my speaker connection is messed up, but how do i take out my aftermarket head unit? last time best buy used this "key" that had a weird shape to pull it out..any suggestions? also could it be the size of my wires? i think my wire is 8gauge

I don't think it's gonna be a wire size problem. If the protection light isn't on, then speaker connections should be ok. Are there perhaps RCA outs on the amp that your accidentally pluggin the RCAs into.
