well they sound good...they sound the way a sub should in a sealed box...and the bass sounds clean, but it is just not loud at all. I have kept the gains at the same spots, and I have to keep the AC 6xs bass control all they way up to feel the bass at around my normal listening level. With my last set-up, I would usually keep the bass all the way down and the Shivas were still louder. Not just at the lower frequency, but also in the middle frequencies.

man, I guess I could say alot...but I need to give the Maxes a few more days to break-in...but SPL wise, the last Shiva set-up would EAT the current set-up alive...I would have laughed if someone pulled up next to me with my current set-up...SQ wise, it sounds slightly better, but ofcoarse I miss those LOW shaking notes...with the Maxes I can feel the the beat in my chest...with the Shivas I could feel my whole body viberating and I could see/feel my glasses vibrating.

Anywayz, there is still hope...according to WinISD, the Maxes ported should be about 8dbs louder then my previos iso setup.

...they look a lot better then the Shivas for sure

dude, I swear...try doing the iso thing with a pair of shivas in a 2.5 cube box...I was amazed by the results!!!
