I guess I should also say that I have the alpine type r components in the front and rear, and I also have the mfv 540 amp I believe it is along with the mrd m300 for my 12inch type s dvc sub....

Rep Power: 0 It all depends on the install. You can get the same results from either. I prefer running a 3-way all active....tweeters and mids in the kicks with the midbass in the doors.
