i have a great idea
well i was just jacked yesterday at school for my dvd headunit, and i don't nkow why i didn't think of this before,

why not get a computer lock and bolt it up to your head unit, it uses a super adhesive, so pretty much, you will never be able to rip it off.
im so mad right now. i just want to kill somebody

Rep Power: 317 i can see it working, theif breaks into car, thinks he has enough time to take your deck, then finds its strapped on tight as hell to the car using a steel lock, theif panics and gets the hell out of there.
but then again, i can also see the theif getting aggravated, and break your deck and/or other things in the car, causing damage.
i dunno, its a toss up, but i think its worth a try.
