Whats a perfect Alpine amp to go with MB Quart PCE-216 components?
Hey guys,
Im in the process of ordering MB Quart PCE-216 components, and thought about the Alpine T220 amp. Just yesterday, I was told its alittle underpowered for my components. I was wondering what others thought? Here are the specifications for the components:
Impedance: 4 Ohms * Frequency Response: 38-32k * Sensitivity: 90dB * Power Range: 60-130 watts * Crossover Freq: 2500 Hz * Crossover Slope: 12 dB/octave * Components: 2 PTE25 Titanium Tweeter 1.0" (25mm) * PWE160 Midrange 6.5" (160mm) Premium Midrange Driver * PXE216 Crossover for Refernce Series Systems * 2 of Phaseplug ***
The reason why I want to keep Alpine amp is b/c Im going to run a Alpine M500 with my JL subs so I just want to keep both amps Alpine. Also please give a bit more detail on what amp you think would match with my components such as if its going to be a 2 channel amp, ect. Thanks!

the t320 would be better. quarts love power. or maybe the mrp-f240. same basic cost for the 4 channel amp, allows you to either amp the tweeter and woofer seperately (meaning you can control the gains on them independantly), or if you bridge the amp you will have 20W rms more power than the t320. either way, the 4 channel gives you an advantage.
